Television

I played Mrs. Barkley in “Dr. X & The Quest for Food Safety,” which won the 2001 Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s Programming/One-Time Children’s Special. I reprised the role in 2002’s “Lost at the Statue of Liberty.” By far the most fun role I ever had was in “Medical Detectives: Charred Remains.” I crawled through gravel, had my body stuffed into a trunk, and was ultimately blown up in a dumpster.

  • Valerie, you are a trooper!! And, a very good actress, I might add. I am glad you still enjoyed yourself after all of the dumping, trunk-stuffing, and ground crawling.

Testimonials

  • We had Valerie officiate for us and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We would highly recommend her as an officiant for a variety of reasons, but a few details stood out. First, she took the time to talk to us to make sure she had an understanding of exactly what we were looking to do. We weren't quite certain at the time, so she walked us through step by step and made great suggestions on how to keep our ceremony short and sweet, which was exactly what we were looking for. She was incredibly respectful of our choices and her professionalism and kindness definitely helped to keep our stress levels about everything to a minimum. Valerie is also a great public speaker and did a great job during the ceremony of keeping everything flowing nicely. If you are looking for an officiant, we would definitely
recommend her to help you on your special day!
